The reliance on public assistance, but lack of traditional options leaves a cycle of dependency on public assistance programs. Outside of public assistance, there is shark lending, family, Habitat for Humanity, local community public programs, or charities. Seeding Treasures aspires to help participants achieve economic independence and homeownership by helping them face their significant barriers with lending programs that cater to their circumstance coupled with financial education which helps lead to a path of homeownership. The value we offer is wrapped up in improved financial stability, increased financial literacy, increased savings, better credit, and ability to transition out of affordable housing.
